Power Plug

The Power Plug greatly increases the flexibility of your templates. The plugin adds up to five special pound variables that you can add to any location within your custom template. Simply add these variables to your template in places where you would like to be able to change content m page to page. You can then assign any image, text file, html code or php include to each page from a simple control panel within your site admin. The flexibility this allows will open up whole new possibilities in your template designs.

NEW Feature as of version 1.07 - Adds a built in text based file editor. This makes it possible to edit and manage your included files entirely within the plugin control panel. The editor allows you to edit files in both your media folder and your template folders.

The example on this site is very simple. It uses just one of the 5 available varaibles and replaces the content in the top left location of the subheader at the top of this page. You'll notice that we have changed the logo for each plugin on each page. To do that without the power plug plugin would require creating and maintaining at least 20 separate templates. When using all 5 variables you can create extremely flexible templates that would require literally thousands of templates to replicate.
